Moire Black Landmark Pro on a Commercial Building in Walpole
This Walpole property is a large, multi-wing brick commercial building with a long low-slope gable roof, connected clapboard sections, and surrounding parking. A roof this size, wrapping several wings and visible across the whole lot from the air, is a major project where consistent coursing and watertight detailing across every plane are what matter most.
We installed CertainTeed Landmark Pro in Moire Black. Moire Black is a true black with subtle tonal movement rather than a flat paint-black. Against the red brick and the gray clapboard wings the dark roof gives the whole building a clean, uniform cap and ties the connected sections together as one roofline.
We tore the old roof off down to the deck across every wing, replaced any soft sheathing, and ran ice and water shield at the eaves and through all of the valleys before laying the field. Each valley, sidewall, chimney, and roof-to-wall transition was flashed, existing rooftop equipment and solar sections were worked around and re-flashed, new drip edge went on along the eaves and rakes, and the ridges were capped to match the coursing. On a building this size the valleys and tie-ins are where the work is won, and the aerial views show the courses running straight the full length of a clean asphalt roof replacement.
