Polaris Exterior Portfolio Siding on a Colonial in Quincy
This Quincy home is a gable-front colonial with a compact footprint, a side entry, and a steep roof, set close to the street in an in-town neighborhood. The siding wraps the whole house and every corner and gable is on display, so the material and color set the tone for the entire exterior.
We re-sided the house in Westlake Royal Exterior Portfolio CraneBoard insulated vinyl siding in Polaris. Exterior Portfolio CraneBoard is an insulated panel with a deep projection and a color-through finish that holds a crisp shadow line and adds an insulating layer to the walls. Polaris is a soft blue that gives the colonial a clean, classic New England look with bright white trim.
We stripped the old siding, checked and repaired the sheathing, and ran the new insulated panels over a fresh weather barrier. Corners, window and door trim, and the gable rakes were all wrapped for a tight, finished look, and the courses were kept level across the full run so the new siding replacement reads straight from every angle.
